Haiti

ETE Enterprises provides technical assistance to the Mercy Outreach Ministry (MOM).  MOM is a dynamic organization that has been devoted to improving the poverty and suffering in Haiti over the past several years.  It specifically focuses on improving conditions in Haiti including microenterprise development, a literacy program, and a clean water project.  MOM also helped guide rescuers to students who were trapped in buildings, after the recent earthquake.

Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe has one of the highest rates of HIV/AIDS infection in the world with approximately 25% of the population affected.   Epworth, a rural township, is one of Zimbabwe’s poorest areas and lacks running water, electricity and paved roads.   The township has many AIDS orphans who have noone to care or provide for them.

ETE Enterprises collects gently-used clothing and school supplies for the children at Epworth Mission Grammar School.  Items such as writing utensils, books, notebooks, paper and clothing have been well received.  However, the problem is ongoing, because many of the children do not have family members who are able to care for them.  Below are pictures of some of the children.  If you are interested in donating items for the children, please call 301-740-7800.
